Sivar Artesanías
Sivar Artesanías is a digital shop meant to connect consumers to authentic Salvadoran artisanal artwork. This business is meant to be founded on honesty, not just outsourcing artisanal goods for economic gain, but rather, selling goods to show the world what works of art our people are capable of creating.

The main objective of this website is to make known the artisanal work made in El Salvador while respecting the hands who craft and create. The site hopes to support the work of artisanal craft workers through expanding the market they are selling to and be able to give them a more livable wage.

Sivar Artesanías is a re-exploration of a project created for a Web Design course taken in 2023. It aims to provide a format to address the reality of economic distortion by certain tourists in buying art work at a lesser price and reselling culture of marking up the original cost sometimes by 200% than what the piece was purchased at. This shop hopes to celebrate Salvadoran culture and Salvadoran artisans. Each purchase made within the site would directly benefit the artists and craftsmen creating the artwork.
