I’m Stephanie Meléndez!
I am a Salvadoran-American Multidisciplinary Designer currently
studying at the University of Houston hoping to obtain my BFA in Graphic Design. Within design, I always seek for my designs to bridge the gap between authentic expression and conscious structured design that effectively communicates. I would describe my visual style as bold and visually intricate—I love experimenting with striking visuals and pushing the boundaries of composition.
Created sustainable graphic systems, cohesive branding identity, and collateral designs for a newly planted church, ensuring visual
consistency across all platforms, and contributed to building the church's online presence with a functional website.
Facilitate communication between class and faculty professors. Lead and manage a team of officers by delegating tasks, coordinating meetings, and overseeing event planning, logistics, and design execution. Develop partnerships with external organizations, and optimize program initiatives to enhance the overall success and impact of the program.
Led the production process ensuring a cohesive, engaging experience for the congregation through multimedia and design strategy. Managed a team of volunteers, overseeing each
service and supporting various church-led events. Overhauled organizational systems to improve workflow, communication, and efficiency, streamlining processes across the media team and other departments for a more effective church systematic workflow and execution.
Designed graphics and developed visual concepts for various series, enhancing creativity and refining design skills, likewise aided in bringing these concepts to life through in-house productions. Supported Sunday services and weekly events as a Media Crew member, managing on-screen visuals, multimedia content, audio, and lighting.
